About Blog

Welcome to Combsing Through the Minutia. On this blog I will share my rants and raves concerning various posts from around the web that are humorous, instructional, entertaining, and just flat out interesting. Post may be my thoughts, reposting of others’ thoughts, or interesting and entertaining video from the various viral video sites.

As a matter of introduction, I should also mention that I have my own podcast, the Bricks in my Pocket podcast (or BimPCast), devoted to Adult Fans of LEGO (AFOLs). This podcast can be found at:

or you can subscribe using your favorite podcatching client such as iTunes, iPodder Lemon, or iPodderX.

So what can you expect from this blog? Nothing more than my thoughts. I will rarely point out facts and figures. I will regularly give you my views on what’s happening around the world wide web. Sometimes it will be fun, sometimes it will be boring, and sometimes extremely geeky. What every the case, I hope you find it an interesting read. And who knows, this could also turn into a PodCast! So sit back with your favorite beverage and enjoy the rants and raves of a conservative, 40ish man who has lots to say about not much of anything and let’s see if we can comb through the minutia together. I will leave comments open and I look forward to your feedback.

And yes, I am an AFOL, but more than that, I love the brick so much that I applied for and became an official LEGO Ambassador for two cycles. You can learn more about the LEGO Ambassador program and read my Ambassador Profile by visiting:
